With various members scattered across London, Lazy Lion have a sound which is hard to pigeon hole. This is a band who far exceed the limitations of hip-hop, grime or rap.
In December 2009 (having being together for less than a year) the band released the "L.L" EP featuring a vibrant collection of tracks which would reflect their core sound. Mirroring the passion found within their recordings, their live show is a visceral, intense experience, with the band effortlessly synchronising together onstage to deliver a raucous and energetic performance. The lyrical dexterity of DSB and bluesy licks of Steady, teamed with the musicality of Iray's production is quickly growing acclaim amongst many respected artists. Mafia Lights lead singer Joel Amey has described them as "a band that sounds like they've been together for years". Currently hard at work on their debut LP, Lazy Lion are looking forward to the interesting road ahead.... |
